Christopher Owens
Christopher Owens is the Founder and Managing Director of Owens Executive Financial Services and brings executive-level experience across accounting, budgeting, financial operations, sponsored funding, forecasting, internal controls, and organizational financial management.
Throughout his career, Christopher has led complex financial operations involving large operating budgets, capital initiatives, grant and sponsored funding, multi-unit organizations, and sophisticated reporting environments. His work has centered on building reliable financial systems and translating complex financial information into clear, decision-ready insight for organizational leadership.
His experience spans financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial controls, audit readiness, funding oversight, process improvement, and financial strategy. This combination allows him to bridge foundational accounting with the higher-level financial management organizations need to make informed decisions.
Christopher is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor. He brings analytical rigor, operational discipline, and a hands-on approach to every engagement.
